Clinical Nutritional Management
Nutritional management is a significant component of Chiropractic care. This type of therapy is very successful in managing many symptoms that so many of you suffer from. Chronic illness is often associated with gastrointestinal dysfunction. With the use of a comprehensive health questionaire, we can assess which systems of the body need nutritional support. However, REGARDLESS of what the patients symptoms, the FIRST step is always Chiropractic treatment. If your body is unstable in the face of gravity, dealing with more subtle dysfunction would be difficult if not pointless. Once a body is stable then a nutritional assessment can be determined.
The overall process is this:
- Chiropractic exam: this will help determine overall structural function of the patient. From this a treatment plan is recommended and initiated.
- Patient takes on-line 'HEALTH APPRAISAL QUESTIONAIRE' : Given results and my recommendations the patient then decides whether or not they want to improve their health further with clinical nutritional therapy. If not, then patient is released and is encouraged to come in for regular chiropractic spinal adjustments. If the patient is interested in being proactive in managing their health, we go on to next step. NOTE: You must first REQUEST login information from me. To make a request simply go to my 'CONTACT US' page & fill out the form, HOWEVER, you need to include your name, email address, age & weight. I then enter you into the HEALTH APPRAISAL QUESTIONAIRE site. You will then receive an email containing your login info and a link to take the test. Once you take the questionaire, I am notified & then I will be in touch with your results. Then you decide if starting treatment is for you.
- Detoxification: I have designed a 7 Day Detox ---THIS IS ALWAYS THE FIRST STEP IN CLINICAL NUTRITIONAL MANAGEMENT! - Patient re-takes the 'HEALTH APPRAISAL QUESTIONAIRE' . Remember, you have a base-line test which was taken before the DeTox. Depending on the results, I will make further nutritional recommendations if any are necessary.
